The Original Tapper

  I Found It!
I thought I had lost any executable copy of Tapper. But after a complete search of my hard drive I found a copy that I had named NewTap.exe
So we now have a copy of the Windows version of Tapper to look at and play with.

This was the code I demo'd for my final project so many years ago. So it only supports a Standard Stick 10 string tuning. However, it has a basic outline for the flash cards. It has a "Build your own chord and scale" dialog boxes, it has full MIDI support.

For something I threw together in 2 months it's not bad.

I'm not listing the source code because

  1. It's in C++ and MFC so it's not that much help to us.
  2. It's code I wrote 3 or 4 years ago so I'm really not all that proud of it. :-)
  3. I don't want my old code to limit our thinking as to how we want to build the new Tapper.
